Hardin County's own zoning rules are making our housing shortage worse, and I want to fix that by removing barriers to the kinds of homes — duplexes, senior housing, adaptive reuse — that fit between a single-family house and a big apartment complex.

Campaign Kick-Off

Jail costs have driven county general fund transfers up 76% statewide since 2019, and that's not a spending problem Fiscal Court created — it's a bill Frankfort needs to pay.

Fiscal Responsibility & Jail Cost Reform

Smart growth in Hardin County means preserving farmland, filling in what we've already built instead of sprawling further out, and backing homegrown small businesses and clean energy jobs — not chasing outside developers at any cost.

Write a short blurb about an issue your campaign is highlighting. Try to keep the text a similar size between the various issue blurbs.

Green Economic Development

Hardin County is Kentucky's largest community without fixed-route public transportation, and one in six residents surveyed don't own a car — I want to be the Fiscal Court champion who finally gets our county's already-drafted transit plan built, with federal dollars covering the cost instead of local taxpayers.

Expanding Public Transportation Options

Hardin County has the basics — trash pickup, a landfill, seven drop-off recycling sites — but I want to modernize it: more materials accepted, more convenient access than a special trip across town, and real wastewater solutions for rural neighborhoods not on a sewer line.

All eight magistrate seats in Hardin County will be contested this year — political challengers have filed to run against every incumbent in the upcoming election.

Challengers aim to unseat incumbents in every district

Our rural villages — Cecilia, Glendale, Rineyville and Stephensburg — have real identities worth protecting, and I'd rather see them shape their own futures than let development pressure make those decisions for them.

Protecting Rural Villages & Promoting Agritourism

Before a data center developer ever picks Hardin County, I want zoning, water, and ratepayer protections already on the books — not written in a panic once the bulldozers show up.

Regulating AI Data Centers

Name a public park in unincorporated Hardin County. You can't — because there isn't one, and that's a gap I intend to close.
